Obituary for Marco di Rienzo
The ESGCO community sadly announces that an eminent member of the board, Marco di Rienzo, passed away on May, 25th, 2022. Marco organized the 5th ESGCO meeting in Parma, Italy in 2008. Marco was a pioneer of heart rate and blood pressure variability analysis and he was one of the animators of the field of biomedical signal processing since its early beginning. He has been an active developer of biomedical devices and portable instruments to monitor vital signs from ambulant subjects as well. The ESGCO, and the entire community of time series analysis, will be missing him very much
