
Raquel Bailón (PhD 2006) is Full Professor of Signal Theory and Communications at the University of Zaragoza, and a Senior Researcher at the Aragón Health Research Institute and at the Center for Biomedical Network Research. Her research specializes in developing robust algorithms for Heart Rate Variability (HRV) analysis, specifically tailored for "hostile" or noisy environments. This expertise has resulted in digital health applications for stress monitoring, mental health, and cardio-respiratory diseases, utilizing both clinical-grade medical devices and different types of wearables.
